September 15, 2005, 9:30 PM – Added information about the intended use and reason for abandonment of the tunnel at Pentagon City to the DC Metro section of the Transit Center site.

September 1, 2005, 11:49 PM – Added August 2005 Journal page.

September 1, 2005, 6:49 PMSplash page image changed for September. This month's image was taken by me off of a convex mirror.

August 26, 2005, 5:29 PM – Added bottom-of-page nav-links to The Schumin Web Salutes America, The Roanoke Star, An Urban Comparison, and A Protest Against the War. The Schumin Web Salutes America II was not converted due to the unusual navigation box.

August 26, 2005, 3:10 PM – Added nav-links to the bottom of the pages for my Virginia Beach trip in 2000. It had not occurred to me when I removed those links on the bottom during the redesign (for cosmetic reasons) how annoying it would be without them. These links will also be restored to the other pages where they were removed.

July 30, 2005, 6:00 PM – Updated splash page image for August. It's a self-portrait from 2002.

July 26, 2005, 4:48 AM – Two-part Downtown Lynchburg photography set is now online.

July 18, 2005, 9:26 PM – Added direct links between the upper and lower level pages for Fort Totten, Gallery Place-Chinatown, Metro Center, and L'Enfant Plaza stations in the Washington DC section of The Schumin Web Transit Center.

July 17, 2005, 12:30 AM – Large update to the Washington DC section of the Transit Center site. All pages in this section had updates, either with new photos, removal of older photos, wording changes, or otherwise. New pages include the Abandoned Tunnel at Pentagon City and McMetro.

July 16, 2005, 8:40 PM – Big update to Childhood Days photo set in Odds and Ends. Lots of new photos of me as a child, including one of me dressed as a crayon for Halloween.

July 4, 2005, 9:17 PM – Reverted changes made for July 4 Metro service back to regular service patterns.

July 3, 2005, 5:32 PM – The Washington DC Metro section on the Transit Center site has been temporarily reconfigured to reflect Metro's special July 4 service.

July 2, 2005, 11:57 PM – Changed splash page image for July. The main image is a childhood photo of me that Mom took back in the 80s while we lived in Arkansas. Wasn't I just darling? The inset is a smaller version of the August/September 2003 photo that ran in the same space.

July 1, 2005, 11:30 PM – Turned the Journal over for the second half of 2005. This clears the main journal page of any entries prior to July 1, 2005. This change also affects the main page. Additionally, the June 2005 Journal page has been released. Lastly, three new Journal entries were posted at once on July 1.

June 26, 2005, 6:01 PM – New Transit Center pages for DASH, The BUS, and Shuttle-UM in the Washington DC Bus section.

June 20, 2005, 11:39 PM – Washington DC bus update on the Transit Center Web site. The following pages have new photos: CUE, Dash About, Fairfax Connector, and Metrobus Flxible, New Flyer, and Orion. Coming up soon: New pages for DASH, Shuttle-UM, and The BUS.

June 2, 2005, 11:06 AM – Not directly Schumin Web related, but draws on content that lives here. I have established a Wikipedia user page, and have added a number of my photographs to articles on Wikipedia.

May 31, 2005, 6:37 PM – Made the 100x100 avatar size limit mandatory on the Discussion Forums. Any avatars larger than 100x100 will now be squeezed into that space by the forum program.

May 25, 2005, 3:25 AM – Minor tweaks to the main page primarily for maintenance purposes.

May 15, 2005, 6:27 PM – Fixed a glitch in the Web Cam Archives that caused all the pages to show the same month.

May 15, 2005, 5:40 PMThe Schumin Web Community now sports a new color scheme consistent with the rest of the site.

May 15, 2005, 3:46 PM – Turned Childhood Days into one two-piece photo set by changing headers and footers. This consolidates it to one menu entry instead of two.

May 6, 2005, 7:11 PM – Added Photo Feature Archive to the Archives section.

May 6, 2005, 1:37 PM – New Splash Page Archives page in the Archives section. This replaces the old page with a cleaner, more streamlined presentation.

May 1, 2005, 4:59 AM – Removed the following photo sets from Photography and Life and Times from the Web site: All The News That's Fit To Print, Mastering the Seven Seas, Renovations in the Ladies' Room, Science Museum of Virginia, The Carnival Comes to Town, The Great American Road Revisited, Zane Showker Hall - The Ghost Town, Thanksgiving 2000, Thanksgiving 2001, Christmas 2000, New Year's 2000, and Sounding the Fire Alarm Collection. These photo sets will be stored in an off-site archive.
