This is WAY too much equine for me.

I downloaded the newest version of MSN Messenger (in the version 6 family), and somehow, all of their sample images are the same picture of the horses wearing a hat:
There is such a thing as too much horse, don’t you know…

The weekend is here again! Two days to myself… and it’s supposed to be dismal conditions! Bleh. I wanted to go up on the mountain with Big Mavica. Who knows… maybe I can work out some “fog” pictures up there. Still, I need a nice day.

My computer, the Internet kiosk

Ever get that feeling that your computer is more like a public terminal? That’s how it seems my family takes my computer. It’s their little place to use the Internet, it seems. They even doodle on whatever paper I have laying around. So I’ll have something on my desk that I need to refer to or something, and then I’ll come back and find the phone number to someone I don’t even know scrawled on it.
All the more reason to finish college and move out…
The fun never ends…

The fun never ends when Mom’s college roommates are in town for the weekend. They came over for dinner last night, and everyone had lots of fun, but then while Sis and I were inside talking, the rest of them are outside, and are looking at the swing we have outside.
Little did anyone know it had deteriorated so much, because once someone sat on it, that was the end of the swing, as they soon were sitting on the ground because the swing gave way. Oops. No one was hurt, thankfully.
Still, that was an interesting evening, to say the least, since everyone took it humorously, as we all noted that the swing gave out much earlier than it should have (but then again, we have had a LOT of rain this summer).

All a matter of interaction between the maniacs and the idiots…

On the way back from my internship today, I was taking US 250 back from Staunton, I was thinking about the quote, and it’s interesting how the road works. I hit a speed change (55 to 45), and slowed down. All of a sudden, I became an idiot to about six motorists, who quickly passed me. Meanwhile, they become maniacs to me as they blew past me. Anything to get home in one piece, though…
Also was at a conference today in a building with the exact same fire alarm signals as my middle school…

Whee… I’m finished. I just uploaded the entire Web site again… that’s a good several hours out of a day. This is part of that upload, my new Online Journal in Life and Times. Check it out from time to time… I hope to have fun with it.
