Mountain Scenery
As The Schumin Web Photo Essay Blitz went, this was the end of the road, so to speak. This was the last photo shoot location, and it was run as a cool-down activity after a week of photography that produced a total of 2,860 images. So with this last destination, I really took a little while to get some productive relaxation. This is up near the northern terminus of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and in mid-March is fairly quiet and peaceful, with most of the nature-seekers still at home.
